Missoula is commonly referred as the garden city as it exhibits a great and excellent mild winters and rejuvenating and refreshing atmosphere as compare to other cities of Montana. Review Hotel – La Quinta Inn – Moab, UT.

When looking for a cheap hotel or motel in Moab, UT. the La Quinta Inn could be a solid choice. While it is not a luxury hotel for sure it is quite good. I recently went to Moab on vacation and after reviewing a couple of hotels online I decided to book 2 nights at La Quinta Inn Hotel. One reason for the booking was definitely price related. For one the price was good – especially considering that competitor prices were much higher without really offering much more in return. I was also able to score a nice discount by 1) using my Triple A card or b) by using a specific corporate code ($3 better than Triple A).

The La Quinta offers nice rooms with either a King size bed or 2 Queens + a sleeper couch. We were 3 people, so we took the Queen size option. The room was clean and big enough to give us enough space to move around. Some hotels have small rooms and it becomes difficult to move around. You really feel squeezed in sometimes, but not in this hotel in Moab. The room offered a flat screen TV as a standard setup and when I played with the remote I had plenty of channels to choose from.

What did I not like about the La Quinta in Moab? Two things come to mind. For one, there is only one sink and it was outside of the bathroom in the main room section. This is more a preference thing maybe, but I prefer to have the sink inside the bathroom – especially when traveling with several people. The other thing I did not like was the AC setup. Each room has its own unit and these units are loud. We pretty much cold down the room before night time and then slowly let the temperatures rise again over night. This worked out OK and we probably reached 75 degrees Fahrenheit at 7 AM without having the AC run at night and wake us up.

Conclusion: If you are looking for an affordable hotel in Moab, the La Quinta is a good choice. Continental breakfast is included as well as the hotel has a small pool. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Pricing for our room was just a little over $100 (second half of August was our travel date). So, I consider that price low and fair for the service and quality offered. I think you cannot go too wrong with this hotel in Moab when traveling to see the Arches National Park or Canyonlands National Park.
